Holiday Food Programs Open Across the AV

The Antelope Valley is offering several free holiday food programs this week, including produce boxes, groceries, and youth meal support. Multiple locations in Lancaster and Palmdale are operating drive-thru pickup options and community distribution events to make access easier for families.

Winter Youth Programs Begin at AV Libraries & Parks

Today marks the start of winter youth enrichment programs across AV libraries, recreation centers, and park facilities. Families can access free after-school activities, homework help, creative workshops, and safe spaces for teens and children.

These programs help provide structured, positive environments for kids while giving parents additional community support.

Traffic Watch – SR-14 Southbound Delays

Drivers heading south on the 14 near Avenue S should expect morning delays due to Caltrans lane updates between Avenue S and the Pearblossom exit. Commuters should allow extra travel time today.

Good Morning AV is a community resource hub powered by AVTECH.

We are actively seeking partnerships with other nonprofit organizations to strengthen support for families across the Antelope Valley.
