Partner With AVTECH
Join our partner network and help build a reliable pipeline from training to industry certification to college and career for out-of-school youth (OSY) ages 16–24 in the Antelope Valley—prioritizing young people with foster care involvement, homelessness, CalWORKs participation, and other significant barriers.
AVTECH cohorts follow Model B: a fixed 16-week schedule with 3 in-person days per week at 3 hours per day, plus approximately 6 hours of guided independent work. Program sequence: Google Fundamentals → Google IT Support Professional Certificate.
Programs are designed to align with WIOA Title I Youth and are coordinated with AJCC Youth counselors for eligibility determination, case management, and compliant reporting.
AVTECH is launching its first youth training lab and is seeking founding partners to sponsor OSY cohort seats, donate equipment, provide space, mentor youth, or host paid work experience (WEX).
AVTECH operates as a youth-serving partner within the AJCC system and is structured to support WEX coordination, referrals, supportive services, and postsecondary transition pathways.
